We empower youths to become active stakeholders in this planet.

Founded in 2021, our journey began with the vision of democratizing education and breaking financial barriers to programs like Model United Nations (MUN). Today, we have evolved into a global community connecting students worldwide through webinars, interactive discussions, and various educational initiatives.

We empower youth through free and inclusive access to education, driven by the belief that informed and inspired young minds can shape a brighter, more equitable future. We envision a world where every young person has the opportunity to be a catalyst for positive change, fostering a global community of informed individuals who bridge gaps, connect minds, and inspire collaboration across borders.

Mission

The DMUN Foundation’s mission, listed in the constitution, is “[t]o provide educational opportunities, MUN and Model Parliament experiences, sustainability programs, and support for youth social entrepreneurship.”

Vision

The vision of the DMUN Foundation is “[t]o ensure the continuous development and empowerment of youth around the world, enabling them to become active global citizens and future leaders.”

We are a network of diverse NGOs united as one.

We are a network of diverse NGOs united in our mission to empower youth and provide quality education accessible to all. Our member organizations benefit from collaborative opportunities, shared resources, and a platform to amplify their impact.

Specifically, our member organizations share a unified governing body, funding mechanism, and representation system in international organizations.

In addition, member organizations have the right to nominate representatives to the Board of Trustees and contribute to the election of Executive Directorates. This inclusive governance model ensures that each member organization has a significant role in shaping the strategic direction and policies of our network. Representatives from member organizations participate in decision-making processes, ensuring that diverse perspectives are considered and that our collective actions are aligned with our shared mission.

Our Origins

Mr. Jaewon Choi

Executive Director

Founder

Our journey began with a middle school student's vision to democratize education and make programs like Model United Nations (MUN) accessible to all. Inspired by the exclusivity and high costs of such programs, this young visionary embarked on creating a platform that would break down financial barriers and provide equal learning opportunities in politics, governance, and international relations.

Through dedication and a commitment to inclusivity, our organization quickly grew, connecting students worldwide. Today, we stand as a testament to the power of youth-driven initiatives and the belief that education should know no bounds.
